Smile! Are you up for the challenge?

That's right! You guessed it. This weeks challenge is all about a smile. Anthony J. D'Angelo said "Smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart". I couldn't have said it better myself. A smile is contagious and can really light up someone's day. Let's all try to share a smile and in turn cause someone else to smile. In order to participate you will be asked to use the "Smile" Bingo card available below together with another digistamp. Feel free to enter any newly made projects, but in order to qualify to win, you will need to use the "Smile" Bingo card and a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp. If you don’t have any GI images, you can visit Guylou's Inimitability Store or you can have a look for a freebie in her group on Crafters Digital Art Center!



To save the image on your computer, right click on the image and select "Save image as..."



The winner will be awarded a digistamp of her choice from Guylou's Inimitability Store and will also be invited to be a Guest Designer on an upcoming challenge and will get another GI digistamp to make a card or project along with the DT.

Had to smile today when I finally had a chance to check my blog comments. Gina at Gina Speaks left a comment to get myself over to her blog. Of course I think she used different terminology to tell me! LOL Love ya!! To my surprise she had given me an award. Now I love awards...means you're doing something right. 1.I love being a Nana to Emma,Chase and Braydon and mother to David,Joshua, Laura and TJ and an extended family from my husband's first marriage of a son,daughter, 5 grandsons,1 grand daughter and a great grand daughter.

Christmas is in the air.

Can you feel it? Ahhhh....I can. It feels and smells like Christmas. Christmas lights are burning everywhere. Shoppers are rushing to and fro. Santa is watching whose naughty and nice. Children anticipating what Santa will bring. But best of all....the celebrating of the Newborn King. Jesus! What would Christmas be without Him? Nothing...absolutely nothing. Without Jesus there would be no Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season. No matter how hard the world may try they will never be able to take the "Christ" out of Christmas....Never!!!

Phillip and I enjoyed a wonderful meal tonight at our Senior Christmas dinner.(oh...and I am not the senior...he is! LOL) All the tables were beautifully decorated and the food was scrumptious. Here is a picture my sister took of us tonight.

She was so much fun to color. Liquid applique was used for the fur in the image.

Gabrielle and Lamb. I kept this one simple using a cotton ball for the 3D cloud and then stamped a few clouds in the background. Once again I used liquid applique on the lamb.Oh,and I also paper pieced her robe.

There is challenge going on over on Guylou's Inimitability Blog. The Challenge is to make a card with an elegant theme. You can enter as many cards as you would like, but to be a winner of the Challenge you must use one of Guylou's images. I'm Back!!!

It's been a long time since I have updated anything here at my blog. I am going to try to do better. With new grandson, Braydon ,Emma and Grandson to be, Chase, I should have plenty to fill up a blog. LOL Not to mention I am now a design team member for Guylou's Inimitability. She designs awesome digital stamp images to use for card making or your favorite crafty outlet.
